Blue Marlin catch is at the top of the White Marlin Open leaderboard

OCEAN CITY Md. – Day One of the White Marlin Open saw four fish make their way onto the leaderboard. The boat Barbara B caught a 929.50-pound Blue Marlin, estimated to be worth $4,485,061.

C-Student and Bow Down each caught a tuna, earning estimated payouts of $732,572.50 and $544,757.50, respectively. Barbara B returned to the leaderboard with a dolphin, continuing a strong start to the tournament. If the results hold, that catch would add another $108,130 to their total winnings.
