Jaguars Knock Off Defending State Champions

PRINCESS ANNE, Md. -- The Washington Jaguar Field Hockey team kicked off the 2023 campaign with a statement win; as they knocked off the defending state champion Pocomoke Warriors 2-1 earlier tonight.

After losing seven seniors last year, the Jaguars had a tough task going up against last year's state champs. However, Washington did not let that phase them, as they jumped up 1-0 ten minutes in on a Natalie Davis goal off a pass from Kamryn Noble.
