Highlights: Newark Charter defeats Newark 33-12

NEWARK, Del -- Newark Charter hosts Newark High in a battle of the Newark High Schools. 

The Newark Charter Patriots took home field advantage scoring the first two touchdowns of the night, one by Damon Saunders, another by Cayden Anderson. The offense relied on Chase Kennedy's passing game to secure a majority of their touchdowns. The Yellowjackets of Newark High tried to fight back, scoring one touchdown in the first half, courtesy of Xzavir Wilson-Reynolds, and another close to the end of the second half, with a quarterback keep by Jahsir Bryant. However, the Patriots often held the Yellowjackets to a 3 and out, and secured the win.
