MARDELA SPRINGS, Md. -- For the first time since 2022, Stephen Decatur softball is heading to the Bayside Title game. The Seahawks beat Mardela, 3-1, to clinch the Bayside South division on Thursday afternoon. 

Decatur scored all three of its runs in the fifth inning. Emily Blume went the distance for the Seahawks and struck out two. Mardela junior Ava Twilley struck out nine in her first loss of the season.Â
