CAMDEN, Del-- Delmar and Caesar Rodney faced off in field hockey Monday evening. In the first quarter, Elle Preston of Delmar scored the first goal of the game, giving the Wildcats a 1-0 lead. It was not until the third quarter that Kennedy Harris of Delmar scored the Wildcats' second goal, making the score 2-0.

Montana Fox of Caesar Rodney answered back by scoring a goal in the third and fourth quarter, tying the score 2-2. The game then proceeded to go into overtime. The Riders and Wildcats found themselves in a tense back and forth for the leading spot. But it was Cadence Campbell of Delmar who scored the tie breaking goal, giving Delmar a winning score of 3-2.
