Highlights: Lake Forest Defeats Sussex Academy Softball 4-1

FELTON, Del-- Lake Forest and Sussex Academy faced off in softball Thursday evening. At the top of the second, Sussex Academy's Ashlyn Troxler hit a double that allowed Delainie Monitzer to score the Seahawks' first run of the game. Giving Sussex Academy the lead with a score of 1-0. At the bottom of the third, Lake Forest's Chloe Revelle answered back by hitting a double. Giving Bayli Glanden a run to tie the score 1-1.

It was not until the bottom of the fifth that Glanden hit a single that gave Carley Rebuck a run. Putting Lake Forest in the lead with a score of 2-1. Shortly after, Lake Forest's Rylan Rust hit a single that allowed Glanden and Carah Sumpter to score the final runs of the game. Giving the undefeated Spartans a winning score of 4-1.
