SMYRNA, Del-- Smyrna and Caesar Rodney faced off in the DIAA Class 3A Football Quarterfinals. Throughout the game, the Eagles held the lead. It was not until the end of the second quarter that the Riders scored their first touchdown of the night, changing Smyrna's lead to a score of 22-6. The last two quarters of the game were filled with touchdowns from both teams, but Smyrna refused to give up their leading spot. The Eagles went on to claim a 52-27 victory. Smyrna will go on to play Salesianum in the semi-finals.
