Highlights: Smyrna defeats Appoquinimink 5-2 in Softball

Smyrna DE-- The Smyrna Eagles hosted the Appoquinimink Jaguars for softball.

In the top of the 3rd Morgan Stonebraker hits an RBI single for the Jaguars so they take the lead 1-0. In the bottom of the 3rd Alyssa Spicer tied it up at 1-1 with an inside the park home run for the Eagles. The Jaguars take the lead back thanks to an RBI single from Katelyn Whalen in the top of the 4th. Appoquinimink led 2-1 until the bottom of the 6th. Alexis Dennis tied it up with a home run for the Eagles and then Haylee Ridgeway hit a 3 RBI triple to take the lead for Smyrna.
