Salisbury MD.-- Bracket play for the USSSA 13Open tournament is underway and today the Lionville Lightning 14U Gold faced off against the Empire State Huskies 14U.

The Lionville Lightning dominated this match up from the beginning. A stellar pitching performance from Hana Lang kept the Huskies at bay. In the second inning a 2 RBI single from Peyton Bennett, and a 2 RBI double from Charlotte Gange gave the Lightning an early lead. The real spectacle of the game was Lila Smith's 2 run inside the park homerun.
