FREDERICK, Md. – Will Sherwood and the Saints defense utilized one of the oldest tricks in the book to end their semifinal contest against the Panthers on Tuesday- the hidden ball trick.

After leading for six innings, the Saints found themselves in a tough spot at the top of the seventh. The Panthers had cut into their 4-0 lead and trailed by just one run with one out. Sherwood struck out the next batter, but the tying run remained on second base. With a trip to the finals on the line, Head Coach Brian Femi called for the trickery.
