Fillies Fastpitch 18U defeats Saratoga Thunder 9-4 to win USSSA Eastern National Championship.

Salisbury Md. – Fillies Fastpitch defeated Saratoga Thunder 9-4 on Saturday afternoon to win the tournament. 

A seven run second inning helped propel Fillies fastpitch to the 18U tournament win. After falling behind 2-0 early, just two RBI’s drove in five runs alone. And after the first inning Fillies starter Leah Gunsett settled down and controlled the rest of the game.
