Cape Henlopen and A.I. du Pont faced off in Round 2 of the DIAA boys basketball playoffs. The Vikings won 73-55.

LEWES, Del-- Cape Henlopen and A.I. du Pont faced off in Round 2 of the DIAA Boys Basketball playoffs. Throughout the first three quarters, the Vikings and Tigers kept finding themselves in a tie. In the third quarter, Cape Henlopen's Jameson Tingle scored a two pointer that put an end to a 33-33 tie; giving the Vikings a 35-33 lead.

For the remainder of the night, Cape Henlopen held onto the leading spot. A.I. du Pont tried to fight back, but the Vikings ended up leaving the Tigers behind. Cape Henlopen concluded the night with a 73-55 victory and their ticket to the quarterfinals. This Saturday, the Vikings will travel north to take on Howard at 2:00pm.Â
