James M Bennett hosted Severna Park for the 2024 Class 3A Girls Soccer Regional Championships inside the Shipyard. After a quiet first half, Erin Hussey of Severna causes enough chaos inside the box to cause JMB to score on their own goal. The Clippers would quickly erase that mistake however, Gracie Core capitalizing on the corner kick as she gets the header past the Falcons keeper. This contest would stay locked up at 1-1 for the remainder of regulation, JMB's keeper Sophia Valenzana putting on a show as Severna's offense continued to pepper the goal. In the final seconds of overtime Erin Hussey would come up big with the game winning header to crown Severna Park the 2024 Class 3A Girls Soccer Regional Champions.
