PRINCESS ANNE, Md. -- UMES women's basketball earned its first win of the season with a 91-37 win over Cheyney (PA) on Saturday. The Hawks move to 1-1 with their highest scoring effort under second-year head coach Malikah Willis.

Freshman Kaliya Perry led the way with 15 points and 13 rebounds, both personal bests in her young career. Maryland Eastern Shore dominated overall inside, with 54 points in the paint.
