PRINCESS ANNE, Md. -- UMES men's basketball cut an 11-point deficit all the way down to one in the second half against Coppin State, but the Eagles survived to win, 62-57, on Monday night at the Hytche Center. 

It's Coppin State's first win in Princess Anne since March 2, 2020. Former Hawk Toby Nnadozie led the Eagles with 17 points. Ketron Shaw paced UMES with 16 points in the loss.
