CT Diamond Club was up 6-1 prior to the rain cancellation

Salisbury, MD-- A downpour of rain halted the conclusion of the Connecticut Diamond Club and Delmarva Freedom matchup after three innings in the 14u USSSA East Softball tournament in Salisbury. 

Prior to the game's cancellation, CT Diamond Club had built up a sizeable 6-1 lead on the backs of key RBIs from Khai Maldanado on an RBI single in the second inning and a bunt single from Kaylee Hernandez in the bottom of the third that plated two.
