Georgetown Mercies Washington D.C. 24-0

BRISTOL, CT-- It was a quick one in Bristol today, as Georgetown Little League Softball ran through Capitol City LL (D.C.) 24-0 in just three innings to avoid elimination in the Mid-Atlantic LL Softball Tournament.

Georgetown scored early and often, putting up 12 runs in the first two innings. Key contributors at the plate included leadoff hitter Adeline Lutz, who went 2-4 and scored three runs, along with Caroline Holston, who went 3-3 with five RBIs.
