Fillies Fastpitch Takes The 3-2 Semifinal Victory Over Xpress Elite

SALISBURY, MD. -- The USSSA Eastern National Championship Semifinals took place at Henry S. Parker, and on field five we saw Fillies Fastpitch out of New York take on Xpress Elite out of Pennsylvania. 

It started as a defensive masterclass from both teams, but eventually a homerun by Ava Cross would break open the goose egg for the Xpress. They would add on another run to make it 2-0. The Fillies would then tie the game up an inning later, making it 2-2, but eventually, a sacrifice RBI in the bottom of the 5th inning would make it a 3-2 Fillies lead.
