CENTREVILLE, Md. — The Parkside Rams survived a wild finish to defeat Queen Anne’s County 41-40 and advance. After Beatrice Holthaus tied the game with a three and later put the Lions ahead with a free throw, Parkside’s Ta’Layah Clark responded with a layup to reclaim the lead with 30 seconds left.

A late turnover initially appeared to seal the win for the Rams, but after review, officials gave Queen Anne’s County one last shot with 1.6 seconds left. Jada Henry’s final attempt was tipped by Oge, and Ziyon Smith secured the ball as time expired.
