Spartans led 20-0 in first half but had to hold off a Vikings rally.

Felton, DE -- The Lake Forest Spartans (11-7) almost had a 20-point lead evaporate in a 55-51 win over Cape Henlopen (11-7) Tuesday night.

The Spartans blanked the Vikings in the first quarter taking a 16-0 lead into the second quarter and led 20-0 near the midway point of the 2nd quarter. Tim Hitchcock provided the spark the Vikings were looking for, knocking back to back three's down to get the Vikings going offensively.
