Dagsboro, DE -- The Smyrna Eagles (7-4) won their fourth straight match thanks to a three goal second half to beat Indian River (7-3-1) 3-2 Tuesday night at Indian River High School.

The Indians took a 1-0 lead into the break thanks to a Bella Scurci goal assisted by Kamdyn Shockley.

In the second half, Desiree Zapata tied it less than three minutes in, to make it 1-1. Carley Topper would give IR the lead back on a shot off a save that couldn't be cleanly handled by Smyrna keeper Halle Geiger to make it 2-1.

With a little over 13 minutes remaining Layna Pennington tied it with a high-arching shot of Alex Davidson in net for IR to tie it at 2-2, Zapata would seal the game with the eventual game-winner with three minutes left in regulation.
