PRINCESS ANNE, MD. -- The University of Maryland Eastern Shore Hawks gridned out a tough five-set victory over the Long Island University Sharks. The Hawks were able to take down the Sharks 25-21 in sets one and two. But set three would then become a come-from-behind victory for the Sharks.

Set four, LIU led a vast majority, and ended winning 25-20. But the fifth set, UMES and LIU were trading blows until the Hawks would fly away with the win 15-11. Tristan Rowley led the Hawks with 17 kills. For LIU, they can go into tomorrow knowing that Cale Spencer is red hot off a 20-kill outing.Â
