CENTREVILLE, Md. - The Queen Anne's County Girls' Lacrosse team (11-1) achieved two significant feats with their 14-4 win over rival Kent Island (7-5) earlier today. First, they picked up their tenth consecutive victory, and second, they captured the Bayside North crown and have earned the right to play for the Bayside title next week.

The Lions were ready for this one right from the jump, as they quickly built a four goal lead in the first ten minutes of action. Offensive possession was thoroughly controlled during that first ten minutes before the visiting Bucs managed to cut the deficit in half on goals from Ashley Eeds and Lina Donoway.

However, after that, it was all Queen Anne's, as they rattled off seven consecutive goals to end the half up a commanding 11-2. The Lions were led offensively by Kaisa Hickson (#4) and RJ Ensor (#9), who combined for seven of those eleven first half goals (three and four goals, respectively).

From there, Queen Anne's was able to settle in defensively and control the clock to secure the victory and the Bayside North crown. The Bayside championship game will be played at Stephen Decatur next Monday at 7:00, as the Lions will face either Stephen Decatur or Parkside.
