GEORGETOWN, Del-- Sussex Tech and Sussex Central faced off in girls basketball Monday night. In the first half, the Golden Knights held onto the leading spot. By the third quarter, the Ravens had started to catch up. With only seconds left in the third, Londyn Hopkins of Sussex Tech scored a three pointer that gave the Ravens a 34-33 lead.

Throughout the fourth quarter, Sussex Tech and Sussex Central found themselves in a battle for the lead. It was Mariah McCabe of Sussex Tech who put an end to the back-and-forth with a three pointer, giving the Ravens a 39-37 lead. Sussex Tech went on to secure a 43-38 victory. The Ravens are now 8-7 on the season.
