SMYRNA, Del-- Salesianum and Smyrna faced off in the DIAA Class 3A Football Semi-Finals. Salesianum concluded the first quarter with a 7-0 lead. In the second quarter, Smyrna scored their first touchdown of the game and completed a two point conversion. This allowed the Eagles to claim the lead with a score of 8-7. Within the same quarter, Salesianum answered back with a touchdown and two point conversion, putting Sallies back in the lead with a score of 15-8. 

For the remainder of the night, Salesianum held onto the leading spot. Smyrna tried to fight back, but by the end of the third quarter, Salesianum had left the Eagles behind. Sallies went on to secure a 43-20 victory. On Friday, November 28th, Salesianum will travel to Delaware State University to take on Middletown in the championship.
