WOODSIDE, Del-- Cape Henlopen and Polytech faced off in girls basketball Tuesday night. In the first quarter, the Vikings and Panthers found themselves in a back-and-forth for the leading spot. It was Amalia Fruchtman of Cape Henlopen who scored a three pointer that put the Vikings in the lead for the remainder of the game. The Panthers trailed close behind but were unable to reclaim the lead. Cape Henlopen went on to secure a 37-33 victory. The Vikings are now 17-2 on the season.
