Camden, D.E. — It was a nailbiter from Legacy Field that came down to the final minute between Caesar Rodney and Queen Anne’s County. The Riders emerged victorious, winning 8-7 and improving to 7-3 while the Lions fell to 5-4. The draw control battle proved to have a huge influence, which CR won 10-9, with three coming from junior midfielder Delaney Miklus (who's just three away from 200 in her career).

Riders senior Ella Brown had a hat trick while junior Logan Fuchs scored twice, including the game winner with just 57 seconds left. Goalie play was also important. Lions keeper Karli Pritchard made four strong saves. In the opposite cage, sophomore Ella Pflumm earned her first-ever varsity win filling in for usual starter Mei-Li Fite. A monumental accomplishment given the backup didn't start playing lacrosse until this season.
