Highlights: Caesar Rodney Defeats Archmere 13-3 in the DIAA Baseball Quarterfinals

CAMDEN, Del-- Caesar Rodney and Archmere faced off in the DIAA Baseball Quarterfinals. At the top of the first, Archmere's Shane Harding scored a homerun, giving the Auks a 1-0 lead. At the bottom of the inning, Caesar Rodney tied the score 1-1. Shortly after, Evan Fowler scored an RBI double, giving a 2-1 lead to the Riders. 

For the remainder of the night, Caesar Rodney held the lead. The Auks tried to fight back, but the Riders proved to be too strong. Caesar Rodney secured a 13-3 victory and their ticket to the Semi-Finals. On Wednesday, June 10th, the Riders will travel to Frawley Stadium to take on Salesianum.
