FOOTBALL: Indian River Dominates the Second Half Against the Polytech Panthers

WOODSIDE, Del -- "We got to match their physicality" were the words said by IR Head Coach Phillip Townsend when we spoke to him before the game. And that they did, and more! In what appeared to be a close match between the visiting Indian River Indians and the Polytech Panthers going into the second half, IR would dominate the rest of the game.

The first quarter would see a rushing touchdown by Panther's RB Noah Walker for the first score of the game. Following a Polytech turnover, the Indians would take advantage with a long touchdown reception by Darnell Stokes. Tied at 7-7, the Panthers would kick a field goal to close out the first half.
