The last game before the state championship was a back and forth affair between Dover and St George's. Low scoring at first, but a lot of defense from both teams lead to easy transition points on the other end. Dover was down for most of the game but was able to eventually tie it up and had a chance to win the game on a buzzer beater in the 4th quarter, but the shot didn't fall. Going into overtime both teams were in the bonus for free throws, so it came down to making it count at the foul line. Dover was able to close out and win the game 71-57 and have a shot at another state championship.
