TORONTO - Former Cape Henlopen High School pitcher Mason Fluharty made his Major League Baseball debut Tuesday night. Fluharty, who pitches for the Blue Jays, was called-in to complete the seventh inning against the Nationals. He gave up a RBI double to CJ Abrams that allowed the Nats to tie the game 3-3.

Fluharty retired the next three batters he faced. He recorded his first career strikeout in the eighth inning against Nathaniel Lowe. The Jays would go on to win the game 5-3.
