Frederica DE. -- Before the rain started falling, Sussex Academy and Milford faced off in the DE Turf Highschool Girls Field Hockey Summer League. 

It was a scoreless first half thanks to the goalie for Sussex Kalie Rawlings and the goalie for Milford Kamia Seward both making great saves. Right at the start of the second half Bailey Mears scored a goal for Sussex. Immediately following Milford's Kate Joseph responded. Bailey Mears then scored another goal for Sussex. In the final minutes of the game Liz Layton was able to get another goal for Sussex.
