FRUITLAND, Md. - It was tooth and nail for all 40 minutes, but Team Elliott managed to eke out a narrow 27-23 victory over Team Tech at the Crown Sports Center Girls' Basketball League earlier tonight.

Once Team Elliott jumped ahead 3-2 just over four minutes into play, they never relented the lead the rest of the way. However, Tech kept the game within four for the majority of the way thanks to some key buckets from Tyasiah Murray and Leah Basar.
