SALISBURY, MD -- The Parkside Rams Girls' Lacrosse team took care of business at home today, securing a 22-12 victory over the Easton Warriors to pick up their second straight win.

It took a bit for Parkside to get going, as Easton jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first couple minutes. However, Raegan Becker broke the ice for the Rams, netting one at the 20 minute mark to put them on the board. After Parkside tied the game up at two, a Katie Knapp goal gave Rams their first lead.

For Easton, they got some good production offensively from Emily Currie and Miranda Stup, who each netted goals in the first half. They also got some solid goaltending from Hayden Hulliger, who made several tough saves to keep the deficit close in the first half.

Both squads traded goals throughout the first half, but the Rams managed to create separation, as a goal from Maddie Phommachanh pushed their lead to four with six minutes left in the first half.

With this loss, the Warriors drop to 1-3 early on the year. They will hope to get back on track at home this Friday against Kent County at 4:00.

Parkside now moves their season mark to 2-2, and they will have a chance to break above .500 for the first time this season on the road this Friday at North Caroline at 5:30.
