DOVER, Del. — The ECHS Hornets dominated the Indian River Indians in a lopsided matchup Tuesday night, securing a 69-20 victory at home. The Hornets set the tone early, jumping out to a commanding 24-8 lead by the end of the first quarter. Ashton Brown briefly tied the game at 2-2 for Indian River, but ECHS responded with a barrage of three-pointers, starting with Chris Carrier, Jessiah Johnson, and Elisha Johnson, who all found success from beyond the arc. Tristian Hack quickly became the star of the night, sinking multiple deep shots to extend the Hornets' lead.

Hack continued his shooting spree in the second quarter, knocking down consecutive threes from opposite corners. His sharp shooting, combined with a strong defensive effort from Johnson and Jayden Epps, pushed the Hornets' advantage to 40-10 by halftime. The Indians struggled to find an offensive rhythm, with turnovers leading to fast-break opportunities for ECHS. Johnson showcased his athleticism with a steal and slam dunk, capping off the first-half dominance.
