The Former Wildcat Star and Maryland Terrapin Defensive Back Was A Fifth Round Pick By Miami Earlier Today

DELMAR, De. -- It was a monumental day for Delmar, as they hosted a parade for former star Wildcat and University of Maryland Defensive Back Dante Trader Jr., who was selected by the Miami Dolphins in the fifth round of the 2025 NFL Draft earlier today.

The 155th overall selection of this year's draft was in his hometown today for the draft, and joined in the parade, riding along in one of Delmar Volunteer Fire Department's trucks around town. Family, friends, and Delmar residents lined the streets to greet, cheer, and congratulate the Football pro on his achievement.
