Salisbury, M.D. – The Shorebirds used a five-run ninth inning to walk-off the Lynchburg Hillcats, 5-4. Rookie Brayden Smith provided the dagger with a bases-clearing double that scored the final three for Delmarva.

Lynchburg took the 3-0 lead after four and added an insurance run off a wild pitch in the top of the 9th. The Shorebirds got to work in the bottom of the frame, which started with a leadoff triple from Stiven Martinez.
