Berlin, M.D. — Stephen Decatur Girls Soccer has its center back of the future in Maddie Pennington. The sophomore plays year-round with Baltimore Celtic Soccer Club and Bury City FC.

When Pennington's not on the pitch, she's in the gym. Sometimes alongside younger sister Emily, who we profiled earlier this fall. Our own Ian Nicholas caught up with Maddie hard at work, brought to you be The Athlete Academy.
