On Wednesday, three Delmar Wildcats' student-athletes signed their National Letter of Intent to play at the collegiate level. Kelly Davis, Delmar's goal keeper in field hockey, will attend Ohio State and play in the Big 10, the top conference in the sport. Her teammate and defender, Ella Shockley, will play at Division II power West Chester University in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference. Ashlyn Tapman, who plays first base and is a pitcher for Delma in softball, will play for the reigning Mountain East Conference champion West Liberty University.
