Newark DE-- The University of Delaware Blue Hens hosted the Delaware State University Hornets for softball.

The Blue Hens had control from the very first inning with a home run from Sydney Shaffer. They then scored 4 more in the 3rd including a 2 RBI Triple from Grace Hausamann. The Blue Hens scored 3 runs in the 4th inning, and 1 more in the 5th.Â
