PRINCESS ANNE, Md. -- UMES snapped its four-game losing skid with a resounding 70-29 win over SC State on Monday night. 

The Hawks held SC State without a made field goal for a stretch of nearly 19 minutes from the second to the fourth quarter, and UMES also generated a season-high 33 turnovers.Â
