SALISBURY Md.- Delaware Diamonds defeated North Buffalo Wildcats 3-2 in USSSA 16U Championship game.

Just after the timer had sounded the alarm the North Buffalo Wildcats and Delaware Diamonds were still tied at 2-2 in the bottom of the sixth. The Diamonds had a chance to win it and win it they did. With a runner on third and one out, Whitney McDonald popped up a ball in between the shortstop and left fielder, the shortstop made the catch but they crashed into each other and the runner at third scored the game winning run with ease giving the Delaware Diamonds the 3-2 championship win.
