NJ Heat 14U Mcginniss defeat SGF Lady Bulldog Explosion 4-1 in USSSA 14U elimination game.

SALISBURY Md. –  NJ Heat 14U defeated SGF Lady Bulldogs Explosion 4-1 in a 14U USSSA elimination game.  

Facing elimination both teams played stellar defense in a game that flew by and went into the seventh inning tied at 1-1. That was until Aanya Varma grounded a ball to short that looked to be a double play for the Bulldogs but the ball got away at first and the go-ahead run came in to score to make it 2-1. Next batter Autumn Helms gave the Heat some insurance with a two-run bomb to left field that made it a 4-1 ballgame. NJ Heat would hold on to win 4-1 and advance in the 14U bracket.
