SALISBURY Md. - The Hurricanes faced off the Maryland Lady Senators in the 11 Open Pool Play of the Eastern National USSSA Softball Championships.

The Lady Senators took an early lead 3-0 in the first inning thanks to hits from Addie Visele and Ava Rodriguez. In the bottom of the third inning Cameron Weedon and Mackenzie Stuenckel close the lead for Hurricanes to 3-2. The Lady Senators went on a run in the bottom of the third inning in order to solidify their win.
