SALISBURY, Md. -- The Empire State Huskies came back multiple times to beat the Guilderland Wolfpack 4-3 and win the 12U USSSA Eastern National Championship.

Guilderland entered the championship round undefeated, and given the double-elimination format, that meant Empire State had to win twice. The Huskies did just that, finishing out a five-game winning-streak on Sunday to secure the trophy.
