Highlights: Delmarva Heat Downes defeats Pennsbury Gems 10-3 in the USSSA 13U Losers Bracket

Salisbury Md. - The Delmarva Heat Downes faced off the Pennsbury Gems in the 13U USSSA losers bracket.

The Heat in the first 2 innings gained a 3 run lead thanks to Makenzie Somers and Amaya Truitt. The Gems were able to tie the game up in the 3rd inning 3-3 with 2 big hits from Aislin Donahue and Vivian Horchuck. Heat pitcher, Quinn Carpenter, had a great performance able to keep the Gems from scoring after that 3rd inning. That performance allowed the Heat bats to take over for the rest of the game.
