Highlights: Churchville Lightning 14U Defeats Langhorne Lightning 14U Gold 11-3 in the USSSA Eastern National Championships.

SALISBURY, Md- Churchville Lightning 14U and Langhorne Lightning 14U Gold faced off in the USSSA Eastern National Championships. At the top of the first, Churchville Lightning held a 1-0 lead. At the bottom of the inning, Langhorne Lightning answered back with two runs, taking the leading spot with a score of 2-1. At the top of the third, Churchville Lightning tied the score 2-2. 

The score remained unchanged until the top of the fifth when Churchville Lightning retook the lead once again with a score of 3-2. In the same inning, Churchville Lightning went on to score an additional eight runs, making the score 11-2. At the bottom of the fifth, Langhorne Lightning was only able to score one run, giving Churchville Lightning a final winning score of 11-3.
