Delmar softball fall to New York 7-4 in LLWS Mid-Atlantic regional.

BRISTOL Ct. –  New York defeated Delmar  7-4 in a LLWS Mid-Atlantic elimination game on Tuesday night.  

Delmar jumped out to an early lead thanks to an RBI triple from Riley Phillips and a sac groundout by Rowan Preston. Delmar added another in the second from a RBI single by Sam Timmons and one more in the third thanks to a sac fly from Claire Ford. Preston also pitched four shutout innings and it was one inning when New York put up six runs to eventually pull away.
