Delmar defeat Washington DC 9-1 in a LLWS Mid-Atlantic elimination game

BRISTOL Ct. –  Maryland defeated Washington DC 9-1 in a LLWS Mid-Atlantic elimination game on Monday afternoon. 

Riley Phillips tossed four innings of shutout softball and drove in a run in Delmar's win. Along with Phillips, Claire Ford, Kendall Givens, and Allie Russell also drove in runs. Delmar advances in the tournament where they will play the winner of Delaware/New York game.
