Fruitland mashes their way to 13-1 win

Delmar and Fruitland matched up in the Maryland District 8 major league all-star semifinal on Wednesday night in Fruitland. Delmar jumped out to a quick 1-0 lead in the opening frame on an RBI triple from Kaden Von Arx.

Paxton Green got the scoring started for Fruitland, bashing a 2-run shot well over the left field fence to put up 2-1 in the bottom of the first. Fruitland would add another four runs in the inning, including an RBI double from Colby Rathel and a 2-run single from William Sarbanes.
